The Comco Supported Community Workshop is a fully supported facility which people who are interested in craft, woodwork, music  or any other practical activity, can use on a short or long term basis.

Sessions are arranged for morning or afternoon attendance and are for three hours in both cases but flexibility and personal limitations and circumstances are primary in the arrangements being made for participation. A nominal donation is requested when using materials in order to pay for replacement, this will be accepted on the day.

The workshop is staffed at all times by experienced personnel drawn out of the larger Comco team in order to support the participants and to ensure their safety and wellbeing is maintained throughout the sessions. An atmosphere of fun and self achievement is aimed for.

Participants can use the workshop for a variety of reasons, in order to make small DIY projects for their home, manufacture of garden furniture, to carry out repairs on domestic furniture or bicycles, improvement in the use of IT skills or to use the craft section for therapeutic relaxation and create a work of art, simple clothing repairs or alterations, model making or decorative gardening and wall art.

21 tenants attend the workshop every week.
