Lever Bolton.
1994 Re
opened as Grosvenor House a new nursing home for adults with learning

Some of the residents remained at
Grosvenor House for the whole ten years while others moved on to new places. More than fifty people
spent some time at the home.

home changed it's registration from a nursing home to a residential home
in preparation for the future plan of resettlement into supported
tenancies.
2003 At
the end of the year the first residents had moved into their own home with the
same staff support they had at Grosvenor House.
2004 By the end of the year the last residents had moved
into their new homes.
2005 In
January the home finally closed with the office staff moving to Dunscar
House in Egerton. The site of Grosvenor House is to be redeveloped.
