Richard and Simon run the

London Marathon 2007

Richard decided the Marathon was a good challenge for him when watching the event last year on the television.  One minute I was supporting Richard to assemble some drawers, the next, entering Richard and myself for the massive event.  For me, this was a little sooner than anticipated.  I always wanted to do the marathon, but later on, maybe when I got to my thirties, however how could I turn down an opportunity like this, plus we got to see London.

Richard was excited at the prospect from day one.  He trained hard and had shown great commitment.  For Richard the whole experience was a dream come true,  it also gave us the chance to raise money for the charity we selected, a charity called Sense.  Sense is a charity which raises money for both adults and children, who are deaf and blind.
