 As well as the many years caring for his daughter who has learning disabilities, Mr Humphrey brings a variety of skills from his many years in teaching. Holding the position of Deputy Head Master.

 

  

Bob Bradley

Bob has recently retired as the Business Manager for ‘Bolton Crossroads Caring for Carers’. He previously worked as a Community Development Officer for Social Services, latterly working with voluntary groups providing Social Care Services.

 

Among other interests Bob is a member of the Horwich Prize Medal Morris Men

John Brunt


John worked in NHS management fo 30 years and was Chief Executive of Bolton Hospitals NHS Trust from 1994 to 2004.He is currently involved in the professional development of theatre staff, management training for doctors and healthcare consultancy. He has previous experience as a director of a learning disabilities charity in Derbyshire.

Isabel Seddon

Isabel spent 26 years of her career in education working with children and adults who had a disability or who experienced difficulties with learning.

She is a parish councillor and a governor of several schools including two special schools.

Brian Kenny 

Many years experience in caring for a son with severe learning disabilities. Mr. Kenny brings to the organisation his experience and his managerial skills as Senior Sales Manager for a leading company.

A parent representative on the Learning Disabilities Partnership Board, member of the Finance Sub Group and Modernising Day Services Sub Group.

Secretary of BWDSA  Treasurer of Bolton Care 4 (LD) a group of parents and carers who have a voice in influencing services by their experience in learning disabilities

Joyce Hutchinson

Over Forty years caring for her son who has learning disabilities. Mrs. Hutchinson held a senior position within the Post Office communications sector. She has been very active in the community dedicated to improving the lives of disabled people

John Seddon (Chairman)

Mr Seddon has extensive experience on a wide range of health and disability issues and has been chosen to Chair a number of committees dealing with local and regional issues.

Mr Seddon currently holds the following positions:

Member of the National Institute For Clinical Excellence as the national lay member with specific responsibilities for Learning Disabilities and Mental Health.

Chairman of Bolton Crossroads Care Attendant Scheme

Elected Councillor for the Parish of Blackrod from May 1999 to May 2007
